    • Responsible for the operation, maintenance, sanitation, and personnel management of the cultured products department and equipment.
    • This is a start-up process, as such all policies, procedures, training, hiring, PM development, testing protocol, etc. to be coordinated by the Production Manager – Cultured Products.
    • Follows and monitors GMP, HACCP, IIPP, Food Safety and SOPs guidelines
    • Compiles, verifies and maintains production logs and other paperwork as needed for proper documentation
    • Completes System checks and ensures that employees are completing their required checks
    • Sets up, adjusts, and maintains equipment with responsibility for production and quality
    • Manages all department personnel via a direct reporting structure
    • Visually inspects and test machinery and equipment to detect malfunction
    • Works with OPS team to discuss, diagnose problems and repair machinery
    • Establish baseline equipment settings, startup and shutdown protocol, etc.
    • Communicates plant issue’s and operations with management
    • Monitors CIP and sanitation operations
    • Responsible for upholding food safety standards in the plant including being HACCP certified
    • Responsible for ensuring all HACCP verifications are for cultured product are performed
    • Assists in providing safe working conditions for all employees
    • Develops and maintains positive and professional relationships with all employees and management
    • Ensures product is within quality and customer qualifications
    • Optimizes plant efficiency and coordinates plant needs accordingly
    • Other responsibilities as assigned by the plant management


    • Bachelor’s Degree or appropriate equivalent from an accredited university or
    • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Management in cultured food manufacturing – yogurt
    • Strong leadership skills, with an aptitude for process creation and maintenance
    • Must possess good mechanical, communication and people skills
    • Must be able to follow and communicate directions
    • Ability to stand, kneel, bend over, climb stairs and ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds
    • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure and compute rate, ratio and percentage
    • Proficient in Microsoft programs
    • Experienced with HMI controlled equipment and processes
