Responsibilities

We are looking for a Sr. Manager of Logistics and Distributed Manufacturing to be responsible for the overall supply chain management. The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of our Distributed Manufacturing, Warehousing and Distribution of Finished Product.

The successful candidate will work in the Supply Chain organization reporting to the Director of Supply Chain, coordinating with the Sales Forecasting, Demand Planning, Manufacturing, and Quality and Procurement functions. The position will manage the entire order cycle supporting our business development and customer service goals.

 

  • Strategically plan and manage Distributed Manufacturing, Warehousing and Outbound Logistics
  • Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle of our products at Distributed Manufacturing sites
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, service providers and manufacturers
  • Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency
  • Manage stock levels, warehousing, plan routes and process shipments
  • Resolve any arising problems or complaints
  • Supervise, coach and train supply chain workforce
  • Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets
  • Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements
  • Comply with laws, regulations, as well as the requirements of BRC (British Retail Consortium) our quality system standard

Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a logistics manager
  • Record of successful distribution and logistics management
  • Demonstrable ability to lead and manage staff
  • Proficient in standard logistics software
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and handle multiple projects
  • BS in Business Administration or equivalent experience in Logistics or Supply Chain
