Califia Farms is seeking a Sales Coordinator to support the Trade Marketing and Field Sales teams. This person will play a key role in assisting all growth driving efforts across trade marketing, business analytics, and sales. Areas of responsibility are handling mass communications to the sales team, managing sales resources, assisting with data management and some reporting, support for internal (corporate) and external (field sales) tools & presentations, and extensive project support around new item launches. Cross-functional interaction: Sales, Consumer Relations, Customer Service, Finance, Marketing, and Operations.


The ideal candidate will have an understanding of sales team structure and data management and mass communication through prior work history. He/she must be able to demonstrate an ability to manage multiple projects at one time with varying levels of complexity and constituencies. Self starters, problem solvers and independent workers with a history of successful project management will separate themselves from the pack. Excellent communication and presentation skills (written, verbal and electronic) are essential in this role. Food and beverage consumer packaged goods experience is beneficial, but not required. Natural foods experience a significant plus.



  • Work with Director of Trade Marketing to provide tools & support to field sales organization
  • Assist with all logistics for National and Regional sales meetings and assist other Sales functions with support for customer selling shows and regional meetings
  • Maintain and update organizational information and share as needed internally and externally
  • Ongoing support of Trade Marketing team across all business activities
  • Perform mass communications of business initiatives, announcements, and results
  • Collect feedback & data from the field for use in internal reporting
  • Develop and distribute ongoing performance & tracking reports across multiple metrics
  • Facilitate and manage ordering, tracking, and budgeting of field sales/promotion materials


  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 1-3 years relevant experience, consumer packaged goods industry a plus
  • Ability to multi-task while dealing with ambiguity & complexity, often within tight deadlines
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Strong Excel & PowerPoint skills
  • Demonstrated ability to learn relevant computer applications
  • Prior experience with syndicated consumption data (IRI, Nielsen, Spins) beneficial
  • Passion for natural and organic products a plus
