    Seeking an experienced & analytically driven Demand and Supply Planning Manager to join the growing team of supply chain professionals at Califia Farms. We're in search of someone that is highly adaptable, can work independently, problem solve, and thrive in a fast-paced, ever changing, growth environment. This person will need a constant sense of urgency to execute upon daily challenges and changes in an efficient manner and remain strategic and forward thinking.


    The Demand and Supply Planner will be responsible for working with the International Business team to develop a dynamic demand plan for all overseas international items by location, management of long-term finished goods production planning at our company owned plant and co-manufacturing partners, the deployment planning for all containers to overseas international locations, and the management of finished goods inventory coverage and freshness at the country warehouse level.



    • Develop forecast and supply programs to ensure supply for Califia’s international markets, maintain target days of inventory and fill rate targets without losing product to age
    • Drive, promote and develop positive communication with International Marketing and Sales to improve the International S&OP process
    • Review retailer scan data on a weekly basis as input to develop the forecast
    • Communicate with Supply Planning manager the International production needs, communicate with the co-manufacture and or plant scheduler of any changes to production needs
    • Work with Supply Planning, Scheduling, Marketing Innovations Team and Finance to execute launch of new items with the Business Development Manager in each international market
    • Weekly understanding of finished good production, inventory on hand, orders in transit and customer orders
    • Monitor the COA (Certificate of Analysis) release of finished good item from the co-manufacture
    • Weekly reconciliation of orders vs. demand plan and supply plan
    • Work closely with transportation team to know when containers are shipping out and communicate to the Business Development Manager on arrival dates
    • Improve shipping plans to reduce transportation cost, develop container optimization KPIs and target measures
    • Monitor and improve finished good waste due to aged material, develop KPIs and target measures



    • Demonstrated understanding of food and/or beverage manufacturing, planning and short-term scheduling
    • Relentless attention to details and is capable of multi-tasking in a chaotic environment
    • Outstanding analytical skills with a proven ability to problem solve and develop solutions to complex problems
    • Must be able to understand and balance the needs of sales and operations and make quick decisions that are best for the company.
    • Proven people skills required, must have ability to work with others while effectively handling internal pressures.
    • An expert in using MS Excel
    • Experience with planning and master data maintenance
    • Strong process-oriented mindset that can work within the framework of constant change
    • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally to drive continuous improvement to the scheduling and materials planning process
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
    • Ability to meet the requirements of a fast-paced environment with multiple demands and priorities in a rapidly growing business.



    • Bachelor’s degree; preferably in Supply Chain/Logistics/Operations, Mathematics, Economics, Industrial Engineering or related analytical field
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in Supply Chain: Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Inventory Planning, Deployment and/or Scheduling
    • Experience working in a consumer product goods (CPG) manufacturing facility is preferred
