Overview

The Brand Manager role at Califia Farms is an exciting and diverse role reporting to the Senior Brand Manager. We require a creative, organised and enthusiastic individual who can work across the commercial functions of the business to deliver shopper and trade marketing activities, PR & influencer marketing, and support with brand performance tracking and category management. This is an exciting opportunity for a marketer with 2-3 years’ experience to learn and develop across multiple functions in a multi-national FMCG business.

 

We’re looking for a hands-on team player – someone who can get stuck in and work collaboratively with a cross functional team in the UK and US with a focus on delivering plans that help us meet our ambitious growth targets. 

 

Occasional evening or weekend working will be required to support events and for meetings with teams in the US – we support flexible working to accommodate this. This is a 9-month fixed-term contract to support the UK business across a busy period. 

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of shopper marketing plans. Booking media through retailer media partners aligned to business priorities, briefing and delivering creative assets, and tracking and evaluating investment.
  • Support Away-From-Home channel growth through execution of brand activation initiatives with priority customers that grow brand visibility, and through ownership of our presence at channel specific tradeshows and coffee festivals.
  • Work with our PR agency on the delivery of PR and influencer activity – reviewing proposals, providing feedback on plans and enabling seamless execution of activities.
  • Support with monthly in-market performance tracking including extracting data, running reports and supporting with monthly reviews.

Qualifications

2-3 years’ experience working in a marketing role. Likely you’ll be an experienced Assistant Brand Manager looking for a step up, or a Brand Manager looking for a new challenge in an entrepreneurial environment. Ideally, you’ll have FMCG experience.

 

The right person will be:

  • Creative and full of ideas – we need someone who is dynamic and will create innovative and strategic ways to engage with our customers and consumers.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage time and workload effectively.
  • Numerically savvy – comfortable analysing and reporting on data. 
  • Good written and verbal communicator
  • Happy to get ‘hands on’ and get involved with a wide range of projects.
  • A desire to develop their career in marketing!

Minimum Qualifications

  • University degree, apprenticeship or equivalent work experience. 
  • 2-3 years of professional experience in marketing (ideally FMCG)
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and the ability to pick up new systems quickly.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a proactive and constructive manner.

 

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations

  • Ideally Full Driving license

 

Work Environment

  • Hybrid working between office and home. 3 days a week in Central London office near Blackfriars Bridge.
  • International travel as required.
