- Must read, write and communicate in English.
- Knowledge of OSHA laws and regulations.
- Must be able to taste all foods with no aversions or allergies.
- Must follow GMP Policy - wear company issued shirt, hat, safety glasses, earplugs and hairnet in production areas.
- Able to work under pressure in a very fast paced environment
- Able to obtain HACCP, SQF practitioner and IBWA certification (within 1 year).
- Able to perform root cause analysis.
- Able to communicate and work well with people on all levels of the organization.
- Able to receive, analyze and report out information efficiently.
- Knowledge of Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs) – ability to follow laboratory SOPs.
- Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices (GDPs) - ability to keep proper records.
- Strong computer literacy – MS applications, databases.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills - ability to analyze large amounts of data and determine deficiencies.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- 2-4 years – Experience in food processing
- Associate Degree in related field
- BS. Degree in related field
- HACCP Certification
This position is classified as Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime). The expected hourly rate for this position is between $25.00 – $33.00 per year based on a full-time schedule. Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting the actual hourly rate.
