FP&A Analyst

We are seeking a highly motivated Financial Analyst to join our FP&A team within a dynamic and fast-paced Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) environment. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in driving financial visibility, supporting strategic planning, and enabling data-driven decision making across the business. You will report directly to the Senior Manager, FP&A and work closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, and Operations.

• Leverage financial and operational data to uncover business trends, highlight potential risks, and identify growth opportunities
• Create and maintain reporting and dashboards that are actionable for Senior Leadership
• Support the new product development process by providing financial insights and cost comparisons against our existing product portfolio
• Support the UK business segment with forecasting, reporting, and analysis to drive performance in an international market
• Collaborate with FP&A and cross-functional teams to enhance reporting and support forecasting efforts through detailed spend analysis and data-driven insights.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual operating plans in line with the strategic direction of the company
• Contribute to ongoing improvements in financial systems, processes, and automation initiatives
• Build cross-functional partnerships and act as a trusted financial resource
• Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a highly analytical field required with 1-3 years of relevant business experience
• Experience in manufacturing/CPG is a plus
• Strong proficiency in Excel (modeling, pivot tables, lookups), PowerPoint, and other MS applications
• Excellent analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to translate large amounts of data into useful information and actionable priorities
• Strong communication and presentation skills with ability to present complex financial analyses clearly and concisely
• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload

The expected salary range for this position is between $75,000 - $95,000 per year based on a full-time schedule.  Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting the actual salary. As a full-time employee, you will be eligible to enroll in Califia’s employee benefits program. You may also be eligible to participate in the company’s bonus program which may be subject to change.
