Overview

Responsible for operating Blow Mold for production lines. Serves as a contact for plant leadership, shift lead, and supervisor. Effectively communicating any potential issues and help maintain an orderly, sanitary, and safe environment. This position is also responsible for interacting with and maintaining positive and professional relationships with all visitors and management.

Responsibilities

•Operate and perform changeovers on Depalletizer and Blow Mold equipment for various bottle sizes (10.5oz, 25.4oz, 40oz, 48oz, and 72oz).
•Calibrate and recalibrate machinery before and after production runs.
•Assist maintenance during equipment breakdowns to understand mechanical issues and minimize downtime.
•Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment problems.
•Monitor and adjust machine settings to maintain efficiency and product quality.
•Ensure all hourly/daily production checks and Redzone logs are completed accurately.
•Maintain factory OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) standards.
•Perform general housekeeping and area maintenance duties.
•Adhere to GMP, HACCP, LOTO, IIPP, Food Safety, and company SOPs.
•Start up and shut down equipment safely and efficiently.
•Inspect preforms and support Depalletizer operations as needed.
•Communicate operational status and pass-downs effectively across shifts.
•Follow FIFO material usage and record inventory in Redzone and on the “Preform Form”.
•Conduct product and material tests to meet quality specifications.
•Provide a safe working environment and interact professionally

Qualifications

  • High School diploma and/or GED preferred. 
  • 1 Year Warehouse and Receiving Experience 
  • 6 months of Crown Stand-Up Forklift experience 
  • Forklift certified with the first 30 days of employment.  
  • Ability to read, write, and speak in English.  
  • Ability to stand, kneel, bend over, climb stairs and ladders and lift/move up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to follow and communicate directions thoroughly.
  • Must possess good communication and people skills.
  • Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure.
  • ROSS experience and Basic computer knowledge preferred.  
  • RedZone system experience 
  • Proficient in Microsoft programs and using a scan gun preferred.

This position is classified as Non-Exempt (eligible for overtime). The expected hourly rate for this position is between $19.00 – $24.00 per year based on a full-time schedule. Location, confirmed job-related skills and experience will be considered in setting the actual hourly rate.
